ADAPTIVE DANCE 

An inclusive program with a specifically designed adaptive curriculum, Adaptive Dance provides children of all abilities with a therapeutic dance experience. Students are given the tools for a successful exploration of dance while being in a safe environment. Students will gain increased body awareness, develop fundamental motor skills, improve self-esteem, concentration and focus, and have fun expressing themselves creatively.

BALLET 3

At this level, dancers work toward intermediate technique with increased focus on retention, repetition, and complexity. Classwork challenges students to refine their musicality, expression, and overall presentation. Expression and projection are integrated more fully into classwork, building confidence for performance and pointe work.

BALLET 4

At this level, dancers are expected to have a confident command of foundational technique and vocabulary. Classwork focuses on achieving greater precision in posture, turnout, and épaulement, with an emphasis on control, artistry, and body line. Combinations become more layered with increased complexity. Upper body coordination and head placement are refined, as students are challenged to combine technical clarity with dynamic expression and musical sensitivity.

BALLET 5

Ballet 5 demands strong technical proficiency and artistic maturity. Students are expected to demonstrate control and fluidity in complex combinations, with refined use of port de bras, head placement, and épaulement. Pointe work (for eligible dancers) is further developed alongside center work that includes multiple turns, sustained balances, and advanced allegro. The curriculum reinforces the integration of movement quality, performance presence, and nuanced musical interpretation.

BALLET 6

This advanced level is designed for dancers preparing for collegiate, pre-professional, or conservatory training. Classes are rigorous and require a deep understanding of classical ballet principles. Dancers are challenged with extended enchaînements, intricate footwork, and refined coordination of the entire body. Movement quality is emphasized, along with advanced phrasing, and artistry. At this level, dancers are expected to move beyond execution toward performance, embodying the full expression and discipline of the art form.

INTERMEDIATE CONTEMPORARY

Dancers will explore the vibrant world of contemporary dance. This class serves as a platform for deepening artistic expression through improvisation and learning dance phrases. Branching out of the concept learned in the previous level, this class put more emphasis on creative expression and dynamics of the movements. Dancers will learn various tools to improve their performance skill and quality.

MODERN 3

In this class students will begin to understand the ways in which ballet and modern dance techniques complement each other. Students will learn intermediate/advanced modern dance vocabularies. Students will also explore new ways of moving in combinations, floor work and partnering, and also in various methods of improvisation.

MODERN 4

Modern 4 will focus on the clarity and precision of technique while adding the aspects of performance and quality of movement. A substantial part of this class will be devoted to the understanding of Improvisation, Partnering and Movement Composition Techniques.

CROSS-TRAINING FOR DANCERS

Enhance your overall performance. Is getting up en pointe a struggle? Are balances a challenge? Can you do your splits but are unsuccessful at getting your leg above 90 degrees? Or, have you been told that you lack core engagement during class? Cross-training teaches dancers how to engage the proper muscles to execute a movement and the ability to move with more care and intentionality using a combination of Pilates and other conditioning styles. This class meets once weekly.

POINTE 1

With the addition of pointe shoes, students begin the formal study of dancing en pointe through skill-appropriate barre and center work. Students who are placed in pointe levels are expected to train year-round to maintain strength.

POINTE 2

As students progress, pointe technique focuses on building stamina and skill to support the demands of classical repertoire. Pointe 2 is for intermediate students that have completed 2 or more years of pointe work. Students who are placed in pointe levels are expected to train year-round to maintain strength.

In Pointe 4, there is a strong emphasis on the refinement of technique. OPEN POINTE

This class is designed for intermediate to advanced ballet dancers who have a strong foundation in classical technique and are ready to deepen their pointe work. Through a structured and progressive approach, students will enhance their strength, balance, and artistry while developing greater technical proficiency and control en pointe. Students who are enrolled in Pointe Level 2 and above are encouraged to enroll in Open Pointe. 

Ages: Must also be enrolled in Pointe 2 or higher

Note: Dancers who wish to take Open Pointe do not need to take a ballet class prior but must be enrolled and attending their regular Pointe level.

INTERMEDIATE TAP

Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to Rhythm Tap. Students are taught to add sounds to the basic tap steps. Musicality is stressed while teaching the student to count their sounds between the beats to create more complex rhythms.  This class meets once weekly.

TAP 3

Tap 3 is for experienced tap dancers ready to take their training to the next level. This advanced class focuses on rhythm, speed, and musicality through challenging footwork and complex combinations.

Dancers will refine their technique, build confidence in improvisation, and strengthen their performance skills. With an emphasis on clarity of sound and expressive movement, this class helps students grow as both technicians and performers.

MUSICAL THEATER

Exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows, students improve their jazz and tap technique to facilitate character development. Emphasis will also be placed on learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and telling a story through movement.
