L.E.A.P.
Let’s Experience amazing performances
what is L.E.A.P.?
Northern Plains Dance is committed to breaking down barriers to participation in the arts by providing accessible programming like the L.E.A.P. program.
Let’s Experience Amazing Performances together by partnering with nonprofit organizations serving youth, minorities, individuals with special needs, and military families to invite those who may not otherwise have the resources to see a live performance.
L.E.A.P. offers a limited number of complimentary or discounted performance tickets to those identified by area nonprofit social service agencies, youth service organizations, and military support groups. For many L.E.A.P. recipients, this experience will help instill a love for the arts for many years to come.
L.E.A.P recipient agencies represent diverse populations, especially those from underserved groups and those with special needs. Northern Plains Dance ensures that adequate ADA accessible accommodations for these individuals are made.
Northern Plains Dance requires children under the age of 18 be chaperoned by one adult for every four children. Please be sure to include the number of chaperones in your ticket request.
Request PROCESS
To request tickets under L.E.A.P., fill out the form below. We will notify you via email when your request has been approved, and tickets will be held at will call or can be picked up at Northern Plains Dance. In order to make the experience more enlightening, inspiring and entertaining, Northern Plains Dance will provide agency chaperones with education materials closer to the time of performance. Materials include information about the performance, the roles of each person involved such as the choreographer, costume designer and production manager, as well as theatre etiquette – how to conduct themselves as audience members. Links to online resources about dance are also included.
