Looking to add fine arts and physical activity to your homeschool curriculum? Ballet classes combine both to give students a well-rounded education and get them moving. We offer early afternoon classes to fit your homeschooling schedule—perfect for homeschool co-ops and groups. In addition, our spacious lobby is the perfect place to visit with other parents and make connections to last a lifetime.

Fun, engaging classes designed specifically for homeschoolers

Students explore dance vocabulary, history, and creative expression
- Classes focus on attainable goals, helping students build confidence and building relationships through dance
Performance Opportunities

Students registered January through the end of the academic year are invited to participate in the annual Student Showcase
- They also have the opportunity to join NPD’s main stage productions, including favorites like The Nutcracker

Class Goals

Our homeschool dance classes are thoughtfully designed to complement your home education journey. These classes provide a creative outlet for movement and expression while supporting physical education, fine arts, and social development. Held during the day to accommodate homeschool schedules, these classes offer a fun and focused environment where students can stay active, build confidence, and express themselves through dance.
With an emphasis on musicality, technique, balance, flexibility, and strength, students also develop coordination and fine motor skills that complement learning in other subjects. Whether you’re looking for a physical education option, an artistic outlet, or a structured group activity, our program offers a flexible and high-quality addition to your homeschool curriculum.
We’re proud to provide thoughtful, age-appropriate dance training tailored to the unique needs of homeschool families in our community.
*To be eligible for enrollment, students must be 5 years old as of July 31, 2025. Age requirements apply to both the fall and spring semesters. No exceptions.
Dress Code
Dancers are asked to follow Northern Plains Dance’s dress code:
Girls – any solid-colored leotard, dance tights, and ballet shoes. Purchase dancewear
Boys – Solid colored t-shirt with no logos or slogans, solid colored fitted pants or shorts with no snaps or zippers, and dance shoes Purchase dancewear
