Homeschool Dance Program
Looking to add fine arts and physical activity to your homeschool curriculum? Ballet classes combine both to give students a well-rounded education and get them moving. We offer early afternoon classes to fit your homeschooling schedule—perfect for homeschool co-ops and groups. In addition, our spacious lobby is the perfect place to visit with other parents and make connections to last a lifetime.

Ages 5-8 | Thursdays | 1:15-2:00 PM | Studio A
Ages 9-12 | Thursdays | 1:15-2:00 PM | Studio B
What to Expect:

- Daytime classes for ages 5-12
- Students become acquainted with dance vocabulary and dance history
- Students registered from January through the end of the academic year are invited to participate in the annual Student Showcase
- Registration is available online

Why Dance Class Can Work for You
Our dance classes are a great addition to your curriculum, offering a creative outlet for children to express themselves while engaging in physical activity and exploring the world of fine arts. All classes focus on improving musicality, dance technique, balance, flexibility, strength, and fine motor skills. We are dedicated to bringing outstanding training and experience in the art of dance to homeschoolers in the area.
Dress Code
Dancers are asked to follow Northern Plains Dance’s dress code:
Girls – any solid-colored leotard, dance tights, and dance shoes (shoes must be approved by NPD)
Boys – Solid colored t-shirt with no logos or slogans, solid colored fitted pants or shorts with no snaps or zippers, and dance shoes (shoes must be approved by NPD)
