Be your child’s first dance partner in this 30-minute class designed for young children who love to move with music. With a caregiver’s assistance, children will develop listening skills and initiate movement coordination through dance, games, and songs. The Dance Together class aims to promote body and spatial awareness. All are welcome – no previous experience is required.

As with all our open classes, this class is tailored to the needs of the overall attendees, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

This multi-level class where infants and toddlers can explore and react to new sounds, sensations, objects, and movements while nurturing social-emotional growth and cognitive development along with their caregiver.  The tuition includes access to Kindermusik online materials.

An introduction to dance using ballet vocabulary, Creative Movement develops motor skills and coordination, as well as social awareness and creativity. Students use their imagination to enhance body connectivity while learning how to behave in the structured setting of a dance class.

This class focuses on refining motor skills and coordination, enhancing social awareness and creativity through more complex age-appropriate activities and music.

School-aged dancers begin a more formal study of classical ballet, introducing them to ballet concepts such as turnout, positions of the feet and arms, and proper body placement. This class also emphasizes the importance of classroom etiquette, preparing dancers for success at the next level. At this level, students are able to add Pre-Dance or Pre-Tap to their schedule. Tap is all about rhythm! This exciting and challenging form of dance is executed by creating combinations of sounds with the shoes on your feet. Students will develop a foundation of basic jazz technique, including jumping and turning movements, as well as moving across the floor in various pathways. Emphasizing foot-strengthening exercises and alignment, Pre-Pointe is a thorough approach that assures a safe and solid foundation allowing the student to be in control and at ease when working en pointe.  Endurance and consistency will determine individual progress. Students must attend the ballet class previous to the Pre-Pointe class time they select. Students who are placed in pointe levels are expected to train year-round.  This class meets once weekly.

Musicality is stressed while teaching the student to count their sounds between the beats to create more complex rhythms. Students will learn more challenging combinations and routines, enhancing their performance quality and stage presence. In addition to Tap 2, Students are encouraged to enroll in any other Level 2 Class: Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, or Modern, to expand their movement vocabulary. This class meets once weekly.

In Ballet 3, students are working on intermediate to advanced ballet technique. Students will see an increase in difficulty in barre and center work as they begin to focus on repetition and retention. Dancers will also be challenged to think and explore their musicality and presentation. Depending on individual progression and development, students may be given the opportunity to take pointe classes. This class meets twice weekly with the option to attend a third class per week by registering for Ballet 3 Extended.

This involves a rigorous and comprehensive training program that focuses on honing their technique, strength, and artistry. Students will be introduced to more complex choreography and advanced movement vocabulary, requiring a deeper understanding of ballet principles and artistry. This class meets four days a week.

Dancers will explore the vibrant world of contemporary dance. This class serves as a platform for deepening artistic expression through improvisation and learning dance phrases. Branching out of the concept learned in the previous level, this class put more emphasis on creative expression and dynamics of the movements. Intermediate/Advanced dancers will learn to find their artistic voice in this class. Focusing on self-expression and improvisation, Contemporary Dance helps students find ownership of movement through a fusion of jazz, modern, ballet, and hip-hop techniques. This class will help the dancer to gain the confidence to let go of habits that inhibit freedom on the stage. This class meets once weekly.

Contemproary/Modern 4 will focus on the clarity and precision of technique while adding the aspects of performance and quality of movement. A substantial part of this class will be devoted to the understanding of Improvisation, Partnering and Movement Composition Techniques. This class meets once weekly.

Enhance your overall performance. Is getting up en pointe a struggle? Are balances a challenge? Can you do your splits but are unsuccessful at getting your leg above 90 degrees? Or, have you been told that you lack core engagement during class? Cross-training teaches dancers how to engage the proper muscles to execute a movement and the ability to move with more care and intentionality using a combination of Pilates and other conditioning styles. This class meets once weekly.

In this class students will begin to understand the ways in which ballet and modern dance techniques complement each other. Students will learn intermediate/advanced modern dance vocabularies. Students will also explore new ways of moving in combinations, floor work and partnering, and also in various methods of improvisation. Students ages 10-13 without previous Modern or Contemporary experience should enroll in Intermediate Contemporary or Intermediate Modern. This class meets once weekly.

Through a structured and progressive approach, students will enhance their strength, balance, and artistry while developing greater technical proficiency and control en pointe. Emphasis is placed on the clarity of sounds, improvisation, and expressive movement, preparing dancers for professional-level tap dancing. This class meets once weekly.
