From backstage to behind-the-scenes, there are many ways to make a difference.
Pre-Production Support
Help bring performances to life before the curtain even rises—by hanging posters around town, painting sets, sewing buttons, organizing costumes, and assisting with event preparation.
Production Assistance
During performance weekends, volunteers play a vital role in the magic of showtime. Opportunities include helping set the stage, distributing programs, working backstage, assisting in dressing rooms, maintaining costumes, selling souvenirs, and post-show teardown at the Belle Mehus.
Studio & General Help
Lend a hand with everyday projects like organizing storage, cleaning, or painting to keep our space welcoming and functional for dancers of all ages.
United Way Day of Caring
Northern Plains Dance is honored to be a recurring project site for the Missouri Slope Area United Way’s Day of Caring each August. Thanks to dedicated volunteers and generous donations, we’ve refreshed our studios with new paint, built storage, and reorganized costumes, props, and sets—creating a better space for everyone who dances here.
